It’s not often when I get chance to relax and watch an episode of DigitalRev TV.
Whilst this particular episode isn’t Kai’s (presenter) most entertaining or funny performance, it does give a good insight in the differences between the new Canon 6D and the 5D Mark III which is very useful especially if you’re in two minds about whether or not you should upgrade.
You could easily make a positive argument about both digital SLR cameras, but depending on your specific needs there are some considerable differences, especially if you’re on a budget.
Feature Comparison:
Below you’ll find a features list for both digital cameras, but pay particular attention to some of the key points made in this video review for more insight.

At the end of the day the Canon 5D Mark III would in most cases be the better camera, but I would be more than happy to forgive the Canon 6D for it’s few flaws as the difference in price easily justifies it’s means and the quality of image and/or video is almost identical to that of the 5D Mark III.
Is it worth spending the extra money?
